How much Moringa should be consumed and how often? We recommend about 5g (5000 mg) per day. This translates to approximately 2.5 tsp of Powder; about 14 Capsules (each me moringa capsule is .35g/350 mg of powder) and about 5 tablets (each me moringa tablet is approximately 1g).
Can I cook with moringa powder? No. If moringa powder is heated above 104 degrees F, it will lose its nutritional properties. Simply add it as a garnish to your cooked meals before serving.
Can I use Moringa as a substitute for medication? No. Moringa is a food supplement and should never replace any kind of medical treatment. In fact, if you have high blood pressure or diabetes, you should consult with your doctor before taking Moringa.
If I consume Moringa daily, can I stop taking a multivitamin? Are there any side effects I may experience from consuming moringa? So while incidences of “too much” haven’t been reported, each person is unique and responds differently to different foods. Temporary side effects can range from mild headache and upset stomach, to mild nausea. Can I consume moringa if pregnant or nursing? Research has shown that Moringa consumption can actually increase the volume and quality of breast milk during and after pregnancy. Which parts of the Moringa plant are used in me moringa products?
Although all parts of Moringa Oleifera, including the roots, wood, bark, leaves and seeds have traditional uses, we use only dried and ground Moringa leaves in our products.

Our Moringa is grown organically, without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. This ensures our trees are clean and potent--and free from toxic chemicals--when they are are consumed.
me moringa leaves are gently and carefully harvested and cleaned by hand, to avoid damaging the leaves and diminishing their nutritional potency. Similar care is used in the drying process which is done at < 40 degrees C/104 degrees F to ensure the preservation of the natural vitamins, phyto-compounds and enzymes (raw food quality). The dried leaves are then finely ground, also at low temperatures.

How long should I steep me tea?
All me teas are labelled with our recommended water temperature and steeping time. You can, of course, steep your teas for as long as you'd like. If the tea tastes bitter, steep for less time, or reduce the amount of tea used. To increase flavor, steep for a minute or so longer, or use a bit more tea.
How does the quality of water used affect the taste of me teas?
The best water is just fresh from the tap (if possible). Water that has been in the tea kettle overnight or has been boiled can be bland, flat or stale.
Good tasting water is fresh, oxygenated and full of natural minerals. If you live in an area that has "hard" tap water (especially high mineral or lime content), your tea may have a "furry" taste, and a film may develop that can hinder the developing flavors. In areas with especially hard water, we recommend using either a water filter or bottled water with a low mineral content.
Mineral water is generally unsuitable for making tea because of its high mineral content. If using mineral or bottle water, look for those led labelled "low mineral" and/or "light".
