Without our farmers, we couldn’t bring the extreme wellness benefits of me to you.

We chose a remote village outside of Guayaquil, Ecuador whose sunny, subtropical climate is particularly well liked by Moringa. Our farms average 12 hours of sunlight daily year round. While Moringa favors temps of 77 degrees F to 95 degrees F, it can tolerate higher than 100 degrees F—and even withstand drought conditions.

Hundreds of thousands of trees grow on our 250 acre organic farm located 90 mins from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our farm is managed by 100 farmers and their families who are trained in sustainable soil management and paid a fair and living wage for their work. Providing a stable income for our farmers helps keep families intact, strengthen communities and preserve their cultural traditions. We are currently pursuing Fair Trade certification, which we expect to receive in early 2020. Our farms are free from chemical pesticides, herbicides and GMO cross contamination.

me moringa FOR LIFE™ is harvested at its peak of maturity and nutritional integrity, and tested for safety and purity to ensure it is clean from pollutants and naturally occurring heavy metals found in the soil. So the product you consume is simply raw, green, pure and wild.

Organically Grown

Organic farming is healthier for our farmers, the environment, you and me.

Our farms are USDA and Canadian certified organic. That means we make use of the natural ecosystem to control pests and threats to our Moringa trees instead of using chemical pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Some studies suggest organically grown produce yields higher levels of certain nutrients like vitamin C and phytochemicals (antioxidants) than conventionally farmed varieties; others purport organic produce is tastier, fresher.  Most can agree organic farming is healthier for farmers and the environment because it reduces pollution, increases soil fertility and uses less energy.

Transparency. Traceability. Testing.

Safety & purity means everything to me.

We rigorously test our products -- from harvest to drying to milling to packaging -- to ensure they meet the highest standards for safety and nutrition in accordance with USDA and EU regulations for food and food supplements.

Our farm is located in a remote part of the port city of Guayaquil to avoid pollution and contamination. We regularly test our soil for contamination in accordance with USDA organic requirements.

We use a temperature and humidity controlled drying process to preserve the nutritional integrity of me moringa leaves. We also test our Organic Moringa Powder and Teas for heavy metals, mold and bacteria, and chemical residue after milling and prior to packaging.

At the packaging stage, we seal our products in air-tight containers to prevent oxidation during transport.

All this ensures your experience with me is the best it can be.

Social Impact

Giving back is at the heart of me.

At me moringa FOR LIFE™ our mission is to create a ripple effect of well-being around the world by making the extraordinary wellness benefits of me—from seed to leaves and everything in between—accessible to everyone.

We are proud to partner with and support Malaika a grassroots organization dedicated to the empowerment of Congolese girls and their communities through education and health programs. Malaika was founded in 2007 by Noella Coursaris Musunka in response to the extreme poverty in her home country, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the lack of educational opportunities especially for girls and young women.

In the DRC, women are still largely marginalized and unrealized as equals to men. Noella believes that when girls are not given opportunities to succeed in school and life, it significantly impacts the ability of African communities to advance. So she founded and built a school that offers free education to 346 girls and accepts 30 new students every year. The school provides two nutritionally balanced meals a day—sometimes the only two meals the girls will have.

Malaika is located in the village of Kalebuka, where until 2007 there was no electricity or clean drinking water, and where the average income is about $1 per day. me moringa FOR LIFE™ is working with Malaika on several agricultural initiatives; to bring Moringa’s nutritional benefits to both the school and the community along with teaching the girls a sustainable skill and environmental mindfulness.

Moreano Medical Mission

me moringa FOR LIFE™ is also a proud supporter of the Moreano World Medical Mission founded by Dr Edwin Moreano. For 25 years, Moreano Medical Mission has deployed a medical team from various parts of the US and the North Shore of Long Island to remote parts of Ecuador to provide reconstructive surgery to children with facial deformities and other debilitating medical conditions.

This year’s mission takes place in February 2020 in the Andes of Ecuador, in the city of Macas. me moringa FOR LIFE™ will send volunteers (including members of our own family and company) to assist with family and patient care as well as contribute funds to fly two children to receive life-changing surgery.
